"Nufărul Alb" is a spa resort, being one of the best sanatoriums in the Republic of Moldova for treatment and rest.
In 1960, mineral water containing sulfurous salts, iodine, bromine, chlorine, sodium, calcium chloride was discovered here, and the beneficial abundance of oxygen is found. In 1980 the city of Cahul obtained the status of spa town, and from 1986 began to activate the sanatorium "Nufărul Alb", which has a capacity of accommodation of more than 500 places and annually serves over 5,000 people.
With direct access to the city center, the Sanatorium is located in the quiet area, protected by the city agglomeration, with purity of atmospheric air and moderate steppe climate, with clean and ionized air from the Prut river, away from the industrial areas.
The sanatorium "Nufărul Alb" is located in the most picturesque region of the city of Cahul, located on the bank of the Frumoasa river.
Here you can meet tourists who come to do health care from Romania, Ukraine, Russia, Belarus, Israel, Turkey, Poland, Hungary and other states.
